Leah is a husky/chow mix from Gainesville, Florida

She is one of our treasured “senior” luvmutts. Leah was found on the street and taken in by a local rescue organization. She is loving and devoted, and her favorite things are walks, cuddling, and getting brushed. Mom says, “She’s a great testament to the beauty and sweetness of shelter dogs, and how even a 9-year-old arthritic girl can find a new life and lots of fun!”

Moxie the Chihuahua Mix from Alberta

My name is Moxie and I’m a chihuahua/terrier mix from St. Albert, Alberta, Canada. I have an inexplicable fringe of crazy, wiry hair going up my back that ends in a white mohawk on my head. Mommy tells people I’m a “toy hyena”. I came from a rescue organization, wearing a child’s sock as a sweater. I’ve come a long way since then. I have zero inhibitions and the will of a freight train. But I’m very friendly and I greet people with enthusiasm, even if it means chewing on them for a little while.

Scooby the Boxer Mix from Michigan

Hi, my name is Scooby and I’m a boxer mix from Michigan. My parents found me through a rescue organization called Furry Friends. I love to spend time in the backyard and bask in the sun. My friend the squirrel likes to taunt me, but one of these days I will catch him. When I’m not outside, I like to sit on my couch by the bay window so I can keep an eye on things. At night, I fall asleep on the futon and Daddy covers me with a blankie.

Sally the Beagle Mix from Connecticut...Our 200th luvmutt!

Hi, my name is Sally. I’m a beagle mix puppy from Stratford, CT. I was adopted from a great rescue organization in Scotia, NY called Help Orphan Puppies. (I mean, who wouldn’t want to help orphan puppies?) I am blind, but that doesn’t stop me from living life to the fullest. Mom says I’m the sweetest puppy ever, despite being feisty and mischievous. Although I have my own basket full of toys, I prefer shoes, toilet paper rolls, and empty cups. I also enjoy sneaking into the dishwasher to look for leftovers, and I can open the kitchen cabinet to get into the garbage can. But at the end of the day, all is forgiven because I love nothing more than to snuggle with Mommy.
