Persephone the Terrier Mix from Texas

Hello! My name is Persephone and I'm a rat terrier mix from Austin, TX. My family adopted me from a rescue group to be a companion for my brother Loki. We look like real siblings, too! I am gregarious and outgoing around new people, but I'm scared of other dogs. I can run like the wind, and I really hope to someday catch a deer, although I'm not sure what I'll do with it after that. I love any kind of toy that can be stuffed with treats. Me and Loki like to sleep curled up together in the same crate, even though our parents leave two crates open for us. We prefer to stuff ourselves into one.

Zophia the Terrier Mix from New York State

My name is Zophia and I'm a scruffy terrier mix from Buffalo, NY. I was born in a junkyard in Virginia. My litter mates and I were attacked by other dogs there. We were rescued and brought to an overcrowded shelter where I was slated to be put down, but thankfully another rescue group in Pennsylvania took me in. They posted my story on the Internet, and when my parents read it, they drove all the way down from Buffalo to adopt me. I am now happy, healthy, strong, and confident. Not to mention smart -- the first command I ever learned was "put away". When I hear it, I put my toys back in their box all by myself. Also, my world revolves around my sister Kelsey. I love her so much.

Oscar the Terrier Mix from Oregon

Hi, my name is Oscar and I'm a Jack Russell Terrier mix from Portland, OR. I was adopted at nearly a year old, and as my mom puts it, I was a mess. But I took to my big sister Hazel right away, so ever since then I've been referred to as Hazel's dog. She even potty trained me! When I was first adopted, I had a bad knee and had to have surgery. That's a photo of me in my cast. Mommy says I sounded like an old man shuffling in his slippers around the house when I had it on. Now I'm all better. I love to snuggle and take walks. But more than anything I love Hazel!

Loki the Terrier Mix from Texas

My name is Loki and I'm a rat terrier/dachshund mix from Austin, TX. I was rescued as a stray and bounced from foster home to foster home until I got adopted by some nice people. A few days later, I ran away and was missing for hours. My people combed the whole neighborhood, and when they got back home, I was sitting on the front doorstep. I was just testing them to see if they really wanted me!

Dr. Cummupins the Beagle Mix Puppy from Michigan

Hi, my name is Dr. Cummupins, but you can call me Cuppie. I'm a beagle/terrier mix puppy from Kalamazoo, MI. My littermates and I were found in a dumpster, covered in fleas, but we've all been adopted and are doing great. I'm a pretty quirky guy. Every day, I insist on getting in the shower with my Dad at 5:00 in the morning. Then I go back to bed (wet) and shower again with Mommy at 7:00. When I'm not showering, I take a lot of pride in keeping squirrels and raccoons out of the yard. I walk around with my chest sticking out for hours after I've scared one off.
