Kelsey the Schnauzer Mix from New York

Hi, my name is Kelsey and I'm a schnauzer mix from New York State. Mommy spotted me on the local SPCA's website and called Daddy over to see. They both knew I would be the perfect dog for them! They went down to the shelter to get me, but there were 8 other people already there wanting to adopt me. I was popular! But they were the ones who got to take me home. My favorite things to do are keep watch out the window and get wrapped up in my fleece blanket. I recently got a new little sister, so I'm busy teaching her the ropes.

I was hesitant to meet people on the Internet.

I didn't know what kind of wackos would turn up to adopt me!

But I was lucky Mommy and Daddy showed up.

Those other 8 people smelled funny.

Jovi the Schnauzer Mix from Florida

Hey there! My name is Jovi and I'm from Coconut Creek, FL. I'm a schnauzer/terrier mix, and I was adopted by my Mom and Dad from an animal hospital in Fort Lauderdale. They named me after Jon Bon Jovi because we both have great hair, and because I always bark along to "Wanted Dead or Alive." When I'm not singing, I enjoy playing at the dog park and drinking out of the toilet. I'm also a little accident prone (I run into glass doors a lot). I also love to cuddle.

 

I have so much in common with Jon Bon Jovi!

I wonder if he like to drink from the toilet, too.

Maybe someday I'll get to meet him.

Maybe he'll invite me up on stage to bark along while he sings!

I don't think Jon Bon Jovi had to get neutered, though.

Jack the Poodle Mix from Illinois

Hi, my name is Jack and I'm a schnauzer/poodle mix (or "schnoodle") from Buffalo Grove, IL. I was adopted from a local shelter where I only had 7 days left before they sent me to doggie heaven. When my parents adopted me, my hair was all matted and I was very dirty, but Mommy knew I'd be a handsome boy once I got cleaned up. I am so happy to have a nice home!  Whenever Mommy comes home from work, I get so excited that I wiggle my whole back end along with my tail. They call me "Wigglebutt". Mommy says, "He is the sunshine in our lives and our perfect little fur-baby. We couldn’t have asked for a better pet. We love him to pieces!!!"

At the shelter, I could only dream of a life like this.

Now I have loving parents who let me borrow the car.

And they let me shop from the J. Crew catalog.

Yup, I'm one lucky dog.

Snoopy the Schnauzer Mix from Vancouver

My name is Snoopy and I'm a schnauzer mix from Vancouver, BC, Canada. I'm very mellow, unless you put me near water. I don't like water. Mom and Dad tried to take me canoing, but I climbed on top of Daddy's head and stayed there until we capsized. I also don't like getting water in my beard. I recently got a new little human brother, which is very exciting! When he cries during the night, and Daddy can't calm him down, I wake up Mommy for reinforcements.

I've really grown up a lot since my little brother was born.

This isn't him. I actually don't know who this guy is.

But I love going to the playground with my brother!

He's a good kid. Sometimes I trade him my bone for his sippy cup.

Bailey the Schnauzer Mix from New York

My name is Bailey and I'm a senior schnauzer/beagle mix from Brooklyn, NY. Even though I'm 13 years old, I still run around the house like crazy when Daddy comes home. I like to play peek-a-boo and I always sneak into the bathroom to steal tissues. I'm a big sleeper, but when I'm awake I'm usually running or jumping on something. My latest trick is jumping onto the coffee table to drink Grandma's tea.

I was outside looking for a tissue I dropped.

I mean...I was trying to jump over a snowbank.

What do you mean I have to wear bells so you can find me??
