Octane the Rottweiler Mix from New York

Hi! My name is Octane and I'm a rottweiler mix puppy from Hornell, NY, in the beautiful Finger Lakes region. Mommy thinks I must have some hound in me, too, because I'm tall and skinny. My family found me tied to a spigot outside a gas station, which is where I got my name, Octane. They located my owner, who was all to happy to turn me over to my new family. Good riddance! I love to play with my big sister, and now that my big teeth are coming in, I can win at tug-o-war. I'm a good girl and I love having my belly rubbed.

I think I have the best dog name ever, don't you?

Mommy says it suits me because I'm full of myself.

Tucker the Rottweiler Mix Puppy from Virginia

Hi, my name is Tucker and I'm a rottweiler mix puppy. Mommy adopted me to be a friend for my big sister Bosco. I was in a foster home with my 12 brothers and sisters, but she picked me! I love everyone and everything, and my big sister has never been happier. We play all day. I love people so much that I get very upset when they don't stop and say hi. Some people are put off by the kind of mix I am (I'm also part shepherd and pit bull), but I don't understand why. I'm so cute and friendly!

My life is a typical puppy's life.

I've yet to grow into my ears.

I'm not so sure about these "stair" things.

But I do know that nap time is the very best part of the day.

And I'm still small enough to find neat stuff under the couch!

Zoey the Shepherd Mix from Florida

My name is Zoey and I'm a shepherd/rottweiler mix. I just moved to Florida from Alaska with my mom. It was a pretty big deal! We drove the whole way and I barked out the window at every single animal we passed. My favorite thing to do is go swimming (and the Florida weather is great for that!) but my brother the cat refuses to give it a try. I always want him to play with me, but he runs away or smacks me on the nose. Alaska was nice, but I feel right at home in sunny Florida!

At first I was nervous to move away from home.

But Mommy promised we'd have a great time on the road.

Florida is nothing like Alaska, but it's fun to explore!

Riley the Shepherd Mix from Missouri

Hi, my name is Riley. I was adopted from the Belleville Humane Society when Daddy decided to stop there on his way home from work. I had been at the shelter for a very long time! They say that big black dogs take the longest to get adopted, which is no fair. But Daddy loved me and he took me home. I have two doggie sisters that are smaller than me. But I still have to eat my rawhide on the bed so they can't steal it from me! My parents think I am mixed with rottweiler and maybe even sheltie. What do you think?

Lucky for me I have an impulsive daddy. 

Otherwise I might still be in the shelter!

I don't understand how so many people could pass up these ears.

I mean, come on! It takes me an hour every morning to get my hair just right.

Scores the Rottweiler Mix from Michigan

Hey there! My name is Scores, and I'm a rottweiler mix from Lansing, MI. Mommy and Daddy were going to adopt a dog, but then they saw me in the pet store. I was a giant 4-month-old stray, and I had survived a bad virus. They decided I was a rescue, because no one would have bought me if they left me there! But for them it was love at first sight. I am very hyper, and I insist on being the center of attention at all times. My last birthday was awesome. But I know when to be quiet - Mommy lets me on the bed when Daddy's not looking, and if I hear his footsteps, I quietly jump off and move to my own bed, to make it look like I was there the whole time. Mommy says my cuteness saves my life at least once a day.

Whoo hoo! It's my birthday!

Awesome party! Even I can't keep up with this crowd!
