Hi, I'm Maisy the Mystery Mutt from Gurnee, IL. I was adopted from a nice shelter called Orphans of the Storm after living there for 4 years! My two kitty brothers also came from the same shelter. My mom thought I was a nice looking dog, even though she didn't know what I was. I'm 80 lbs. and my legs are way too short for my long body, but that is part of what makes me so unique. I love to go for car rides, and when we drive on the highway, Mommy makes me wear a seatbelt! But I don't mind. I know it's because she wants to keep me safe. I have a pretty good life, even if I do have to share the house with two cats!

Hi, I’m Hobbs, from Carlsbad, CA! My mommy thinks I might be a mix of chihuahua and boxer. What do you think? I love going to the park, playing with my friends, and chewing my toys to shreds. I also like going to my sister’s soccer games. I wish I could get on the field and play, too! My mommy was looking on the Internet for a new puppy and that's where she found me. Now I’m living in a happy family with my kitty friend Calvin. Together were called “Calvin and Hobbs.”

My name is Cocoa and I'm from Floral Park, NY. Someone left me tied up in a backyard all alone, but I got rescued, and now I have a much nicer family. They helped me get back to my fighting weight of 10 pounds. When I'm home, I love to play with my favorite toys, which are socks and a cell phone case. I don't like being in the car, but I'm happy to go to the park every Sunday, where I sit on a bench and people-watch. I like to walk up to people and sit nicely so they can admire me.
I can't wait to go to the park, but I have to mentally prepare myself for the drive over there.
You see, I get carsick unless I'm driving.
And I have trouble parallel parking.
But it's worth the awful car trip to finally get to the park and people-watch!

Barkley is a mystery mutt from Columbus, Ohio. He was rescued from a high-kill rural shelter by Stop the Suffering. He loves going on long runs, sleeping on the porch, snacking on veggies, and flopping over for tummy rubs. Barkley also enjoys learning new tricks, such as balancing treats on his nose.

“Murphy is a mix of I don't know what,” says Mom. “I’ve decided to start referring to him as a Bavarian Squirrel Hound.” He is from Bellingham, Washington. Murphy was adopted from a shelter where he came off looking like a Zen master because of his calm, quiet nature. He loves tennis balls and frisbee and playing with his best friend Lily. He rings a bell when he has to go out and also knows how to salute. When Murphy is frustrated or annoyed, he turns around and sticks his butt out at you.

Bella is a mystery mutt from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Her mommy found her wandering in a friend’s backyard and was unable to find the owners. When Bella arrived at her new home, she didn’t know what to do with toys, as if no one had ever played with her. Now she loves toys and is becoming very well-adjusted. Bella is her mommy’s first dog, which we think is something to celebrate.
I was lost and scared, but now I have a great home.
