Rein the Lab Mix from Iowa

Hi, my name is Rein and I'm a lab/pit bull mix from Iowa. I used to live with the neighbors, but then Mommy found me running around outside with no collar, and when she tried to return me, they said they didn't want me anymore. That was fine by me, because they were mean, and their other dog used to beat me up. It took me awhile to trust people, but now I'm okay. I love to be with my Mommy and I even get to sleep in her bed with her. She says I'm the best alarm clock she ever had, because I wake her up with sloppy kisses.

Kodie the Lab Mix from New York

Hi there! My name is Kodie and I'm a Chocloate Lab/Australian Shepherd mix from Middleport, NY. My parents saw an ad for me and my litter mates in the newspaper. This was right after they got married! They drove down on Easter Sunday to come and meet me. And there I was, in a pig barn between bales of hay. Now I have a great life, enjoying the outdoors as often as I can. As you can see, I'm a happy girl!

I was relieved to get out of that pig barn!

I had nothing in common with those pigs!

Tyson the Lab Mix from India

My name is Tyson and I'm a lab mix from India. When I was only 10 days old, the floods came, and I almost drowned in a manhole. But someone came to my rescue and now I have a wonderful family! They named me Tyson because I like to bite people's ears (get it?). Sometimes I can be a headache and a bit clingy (one of my nicknames is Fevicol, which is a brand of glue), but Mommy thinks I'm the best dog ever, and the best friend she could ever have.

I'm so handsome, I think pretty much anyone would put up with my quirks.

Besides, who could stay mad at this face?

Faith the Two-Legged Lab Mix

Here is one of our favorite mutts, Faith the lab mix, who was born without functional front legs. Her Mommy taught her how to walk on her back legs, like a person! Here is her big moment on the Montel Williams show.

Max the Lab Mix from Maryland

Hi! My name is Max and I'm a lab mix from Baltimore. My mom and dad adopted me through the Furry Friends Network in PA. When my birth mom was pregnant, she was taken in by a wonderful lady and had her puppies (including me) in the lady's house. She raised us for 6 weeks and then brought us to PetSmart, where I met my new mom and dad. Mom was shopping, and when she caught up with Dad he was holding me like a newborn baby. "I knew we were in trouble," she said. But they love me! They call me their furry son. Recently, we had a big family reunion with my birth mom and all my brothers and sisters. It was so much fun! We're going to have one every year.

I feel very lucky that my mom got to give birth to me in a nice home instead of on the street.

Foster families are heroes!

My new family is great, too. Even though my dad swims with his clothes on.

Texas the Lab Mix from Arizona

Howdy! My name is Texas, or Tex for short. I'm a lab mix from Tempe, AZ. I was adopted from the local pound. My favorite activities include digging through the trash and taking several afternoon naps. I also love playing tug with my rope and driving my mom and dad crazy with my squeaky toys. But they can't resist me when I turn on the charm. There are only two things that slow me down - one is dinner and the other is the camera! I love posing for pictures. Mom and Dad think I'm a handful, but they love waking up to slobbery kisses.

I have a whole scrapbook of my photos since I take so many!

This is me when they made me wear people socks. I didn't like it, I couldn't find my paws.

Bocephus the Lab Mix from Mississppi

My name is Bocephus and I'm a lab mix from Mississippi. I'm also mixed with shepherd and akita on my Mom's side. Some friends of the family had two dogs that (oops) made some babies. And here I am! I'm still a puppy, but I'm the biggest puppy ever. I follow my Mommy everywhere she goes. My favorite thing to do is play tug-of-war with sticks. I'm a good boy and my family loves me very much. 

Hi there! I'm just rolling around in some hay, chewin' a stick.

Ooh! I found an even bigger stick to play with!

I've been playing with sticks since I was only a few weeks old.

I think it's the fiber from the sticks that gives me such a shiny coat.

Hi, my name is Scooby and I'm a boxer mix from Michigan. My parents found me through a rescue organization called Furry Friends. I love to spend time in the backyard and bask in the sun. My friend the squirrel likes to taunt me, but one of these days I will catch him. When I'm not outside, I like to sit on my couch by the bay window so I can keep an eye on things. At night, I fall asleep on the futon and Daddy covers me with a blankie.

Reba the Pitbull Mix from California

Hi! My name is Reba and I'm a pitbull/lab mix from California. I like to sing along when Mommy plays her harmonica. I also enjoy chasing my tail and racing around the house in circles. But my favorite thing in the whole world is bacon. Bacon bacon bacon.

Sometimes I daydream about bacon.

Then I wake up to realize there is no bacon.

But wait! Could it be...? I can't believe it!

Helen the Lab Mix from Georgia

Hi! My name is Helen and I'm a lab/dachshund mix looking for my forever home. I'm currently in Atlanta, GA courtesy of Atlanta Pet Rescue. I am about a year old and I have a super shiny black coat that I get a lot of compliments on. I look like a lab, but I have short little legs like a dachshund.
