Bear the Shepherd Mix from Georgia...Our 300th luvmutt!

Hi, my name is Bear and I'm a shepherd mix from the northwest suburbs of Atlanta. I live with my mom, dad, and feline older brother. My parents first laid eyes on me during a routine trip to PetSmart to buy kitty treats for His Highness. Dad wanted to take me home instantly, but Mom took some convincing. Once she heard my sob story (I was rescued from a kill shelter at the last minute), I was on my way home with them. These days, I'm a giant, lovable lap dog. I'm a big guy with a fierce bark, but all the neighborhood kids know I'm a big softy.

Sandy the Sheltie Mix from Nebraska

Hi, my name is Sandy and I'm a sheltie mix from Lincoln, NE. You've already met my sisters Lucy and Molly and my brother Toby. I was the first one our parents adopted, though! I was found as a stray when I was about a year old. I ended up at the pound, and that's where I met my new mommy and daddy. Since then, they've adopted the other three dogs, but I'm the princess. I love getting groomed and wearing clothes, and I hate getting my feet wet. My favorite thing to do is chase squirrels and birds--I've caught two birds in the air!

I like to look glamorous as much as the next girl.

So I hate when I have to get my paws wet.

But this is all in the name of catching another trophy bird.

No birds are safe with me on the hunt!

Molly the Sheltie Mix from Nebraska

Hello, my name is Molly and I'm the "angel" of the Roberts family. (You've met Lucy and Toby.) I never leave my mommy's side. I'm much more of a people-dog than a dog-dog. My last owners got rid of me because they said I was "too barky." I think they were too barky. I have a lot of medical problems, including epilepsy and arthritis, but I have a wonderful vet and of course Mommy takes excellent care of me. I'm very happy I found her!

I am so lucky that my people take such good care of me.

And hey, I still know how to have a good time!

I couldn't have asked for a better home.

Those barky people don't know what they're missing.

Toby the Spaniel Mix from Nebraska

Hi, my name is Toby and I'm a spaniel/collie mix from Lincoln, NE. You've already met my sister Lucy. I am the only boy in a household with 4 dogs. I try to impress the ladies, much to the amusement of my parents. Despite my attempts to be macho, they call me the "little whiner." I whine a lot, especially when I'm kicked off the bed. I also like to cuddle. So maybe I'm not as butch as I'd like to be, but I still think I have a lot to offer.

The ladies love me, you know.

I'm highly intelligent.

I'm strong and fierce.

And I'm always smiling. So what if I whine a lot? Don't all men?

Lucy the Collie Mix from Nebraska

Hi! My name is Lucy and I'm a collie/shepherd mix from the Lincoln, NE area. I have a brother and two sisters, and we have a lot of fun playing together. I'm the smartest one, though. I'm really good at stealing food off the counter (including whole pizzas) and I can open soda bottles. When I was really little, I had Parvo and I almost didn't make it. Mommy and Daddy kept me on a heating pad a lot, and they think that's why I love to cuddle so much now. I'm a 60-pound lap dog. But they love me!

I told you I was smart.

That was hard work. Anybody up for pizza?

I know where I can get one...

But it might be a little soggy when I get it to you!
