Copper the Beagle Mix Puppy
Hi there! My name is Copper and I'm a beagle/Japanese chin mix. Mommy calls me a Chingle. A man bought me as a gift for someone else--who rejected me!--and I was non-refundable. So for awhile I lived outside on the man's back porch--in the winter! It was awful and I got very sick. Then my new mommy found me and brought me to the doctor, who made me all better. He called me "Fireball." Now I live inside with my mom and an older dog named Cloudy. Cloudy has lots of toys and a cozy bed. Now they are mine. I bother Cloudy a lot, but she just growls at me and wags her tail, so I know she really likes me. Sometimes, I even get my very own human boy to play with. I think I'm going to live happily ever after.

Oh what a cutie!! How could anyone ever reject that face?!? I am so happy he found such a nice family

This is why you shouldn't give live animals as gifts...unless you're sure the receiver wants or even *likes* animals. I'm glad Copper found a home with a family who will love him and take care of him. (And Copper...be nice to Cloudy and share your (her) stuff with her once in a while, 'kay?)
