Does your dog get into "hairy" situations?

How To Enter

Find the best picture of your mutt in a "hairy situation" and send it to us at contest@luvmutt.com. You're free to interpret "hairy situation" as creatively as you like. We're looking for dogs with funny hair-dos as well as dogs in humorous situations. Throughout the next several weeks, we'll post the entries for you to enjoy.

The Prize

The winning mutt will receive a medium-sized FURminator deShedding Tool, which reduces shedding up to 90% by removing the loose, dead undercoat without damaging the topcoat. A $49.95 value!

The Rules

• Entries must be received by 11:59 PM EST on Monday, March 31, 2008.
• Along with the photo you must include:
  • Dog’s name
  • Dog’s primary breed (or a good guess)
  • Your first name
  • Your mailing address (will not be published)
• Photos must contain mixed breed dogs only.
• There can be only one dog in each photo.
• Photos must not contain people.
• Professional photographs are not eligible to win the prize, however we’d love to show off your professional photo as an “honorable” entry.

Finalists will be chosen by the editors based on the cuteness and humor of the dog’s situation, and the winner will be determined by a 3-day, anonymous reader vote.

Voting will begin on April 1, 2008, and we will announce the winner on April 4, 2008.
