Puppy Bowl IV This Weekend on Animal Planet
Gearing up for the big game this weekend? That's right! It's time for the annual PUPPY BOWL!! Who cares about a stupid football game when you can watch adorable puppies for 3 hours? Bust out the chips and dip!
In case you're not familiar with the Puppy Bowl, Animal Planet airs 3 hours of puppies playing on a scaled-down football field to coincide with the Super Bowl. (There's also a half-time show with kittens.)
The best part about the Puppy Bowl is that all of the puppy participants come from animal shelters. Here are a few of our faves from the starting lineup:
Mrs. Roper the Lab Mix, Bingo the Pit Mix, and Tucker the Yorkie Mix
(We're rooting for Mrs. Roper.)
So set your DVR for PUPPY BOWL IV on Sunday, February 3, from 3-6 PM (ET/PT). So much cuter than real football!!

... and they're all shelters/rescues from Maryland- whoohoo!

This is the best part about the Super Bowl.
The first year they did it, I thought that it couldn't really be three hours of puppies romping around. But it was, and it was great!
Living in DC, I always hope that one of the new puppies at the dog park was on the puppy bowl. No such luch so far.
