Maisy the Mystery Mutt from Illinois

Hi, I'm Maisy the Mystery Mutt from Gurnee, IL. I was adopted from a nice shelter called Orphans of the Storm after living there for 4 years! My two kitty brothers also came from the same shelter. My mom thought I was a nice looking dog, even though she didn't know what I was. I'm 80 lbs. and my legs are way too short for my long body, but that is part of what makes me so unique. I love to go for car rides, and when we drive on the highway, Mommy makes me wear a seatbelt! But I don't mind. I know it's because she wants to keep me safe. I have a pretty good life, even if I do have to share the house with two cats!

Yes, my lineage is a mystery. Maybe you can help.

I have big, pointy ears.

And I have short legs and a long tail.

I don't know what I am...but I know I'm pretty!

I was thinking he had a little bit of corgi, cattle dog and shepherd.

I have always liked corgis and thought Maisy looked like a corgi -- on Miracle Grow! Personally, I think she's part shepherd/part corgi/part ???. Whatever she is, she's a great girl and certainly an original!
