Rufus the Shepherd Mix from California

Hi, my name is Rufus. I live in Sacramento, CA with a young couple who love to take me on climbing and hiking trips. I'm a German shepherd mixed with maybe some lab, maybe some husky, and maybe even wolf! I have been called "Wolfie!" at times. I was born in a rural town outside of Sacramento, and stayed with a nice old lady for my early years. And then one day, I found myself in the back of a Subaru, and here I am! I love my new life. I get to go everywhere - from the mountains, to the ocean, to meeting up with city dogs in San Francisco. Life is good. Woof!

I have the best life ever.

I get to hike in all sorts of beautiful places.

And herd real cattle!
