Cocoa the Mystery Mutt from New York
My name is Cocoa and I'm from Floral Park, NY. Someone left me tied up in a backyard all alone, but I got rescued, and now I have a much nicer family. They helped me get back to my fighting weight of 10 pounds. When I'm home, I love to play with my favorite toys, which are socks and a cell phone case. I don't like being in the car, but I'm happy to go to the park every Sunday, where I sit on a bench and people-watch. I like to walk up to people and sit nicely so they can admire me.
I can't wait to go to the park, but I have to mentally prepare myself for the drive over there.
You see, I get carsick unless I'm driving.
And I have trouble parallel parking.
But it's worth the awful car trip to finally get to the park and people-watch!

Cocoa is my baby and it has been so much fun to see how many people voted about his breed! We were told that he is maltese-poodle, so many of you got that right. He has the poodle curls around his paws, legs and behind his ears, but the silky straight hair of the maltese everywhere else.
Whatever his breed, we are so grateful that he came into our lives and get so much joy and love from him.
