Chica

Chica is a terrier/pitbull mix from Portland, Oregon. She is very energetic and always ready to play, especially with stuffed toys that “fight back”. She loves to swim in the river and fetch sticks, and according to Dad she’s “a bit of a hunter…watch out squirrels!” Chica is headstrong and loves to rough house, but she’s also a bed hog who likes to snuggle under the covers. Dad says, “I have always had dogs but this little mutt really has me by the heart.”

I may be wearing a pink sherpa cape, and I may be short, but I can do whatever I want.

It's pointless for them to put my toys up here, because I can so reach them.

I can even make myself look tall enough to get served at the bar.

And guess what? I just ate the sofa.

Ginger

Ginger is a lab/chow mix from New Rochelle, New York. She was adopted from the Yonkers Animal Shelter. Her favorite pastimes are napping on the bed, burying rawhides in the backyard, and going for long walks in the woods. She also steals food from her family’s plates and has an affinity for coffee. Not only that, Ginger taught herself how to open the refrigerator and regularly helps herself to leftovers.

I wish they would leave so I can raid this cabinet in peace.

Boy, that was delicious. Now it's time for my after-lunch snooze.

Tilly

Tilly (short for Matilda) is a 5-month-old collie/chow mix from Saint Louis, Missouri. She was adopted from the Humane Society center at the local mall. Tilly loves her brother the cat and tries to make the same sounds that he does. She also pounces on her toys the way he does.

My name is Tilly, and I will hypnotize you with my irresistible cuteness.

You will remove me from this tub immediately.

You will buy me a larger bed.

And until that time, you will surrender your shoes so that I may nap inside them.
