Collette
Collette is a terrier mix from Jersey City, New Jersey. She was rescued and adopted from Puerto Rico through the Save a Sato Foundation and Stray from the Heart. Dad lovingly refers to her as “the Puerto Rican street dog” and says “she’s simply the best, sweetest dog. From the moment she jumped out of the crate, I knew she was a winner.”

¿Soy muy bonita, sí?
I'm very pretty, yes?

Pienso a veces en el viejo país, pero no puedo decir que lo falto.
Sometimes I think of the old country, but I can't say that I miss it.

Es diversión cuando ponen alga marina en mi cabeza.
It's fun when they put seaweed on my head.

Pero me visten en trajes extraños.
But they dress me in strange outfits.

Ohhhh - I can't believe this little baby walked the streets all alone! So glad she has a good home now!
