Xena

Xena is a pitbull mix from Mingo Junction, Ohio. She was abandoned behind a veterinary clinic when she was about one year old, and her adoptive mommy (who worked at the clinic) said it was love at first sight. She took her home without hesitation. In the beginning, Xena had to learn manners to control her over-excitability. But with a little training and a lot of love, she came out on top. Xena can jump a four-foot fence with ease, and she hogs her parents' bed and covers. "She acts like we're in her bed," says Mom. Xena is also great with kids and loves playing with her doggie siblings.
